The artwork was exhibited at the 2022 43° edition of the Versiliana festival, the most significant Italian event dedicated to sculpture.
The first giant beehive, made entirely of bronze and with a diameter of two metres, won the Mastroianni Prize in 1994 and has stood in the square of Asti ever since. From that moment on, the artist began producing more unique beehives, each set different from the previous one.
