Painter

Geremia Cerri expresses himself through painting, not favouring one technique in particular: he ranges from watercolour to charcoal, from biro to oil. In recent years his research and study have focused on textures and drawing.

Geremia Cerri as the result of an international watercolour painting competition, in 2017 exhibited for the first time in a solo show in Cagliari at the Esdé Gallery. In 2018, his painting 'The King of the Hen House' won the seventh prize in the international watercolour painting competition Abu Rawash Prize.

Over the years, he is invited to represent Italy at international watercolour competitions.

In 2021, he was commissioned by the Commander-in-Chief to portrait the Amerigo Vespucci training ship for its 90th anniversary. The painting can be found in the ship's official saloon.

In 2022, the Cultural Heritage department of Milan entrusted Cerri with the boards for an exhibition on the landscape of the Po Valley, which have been part of the exhibition "La terra delle acque" at the Civic Museum in Crema in March 2023.

In 2024 Cerri won the First Absolute Prize in the national competition ‘Be Natural/Be Wild’ organized by "Selvatica Festival" at the Museo del Territorio Biellese (Biella, IT).
