Painter
Alessio Vaccari trained in Florence (at the Florence Academy of Fine Arts) and Rome, where he completed his studies, specialising in decoration. In 2006, he made his debut with his first solo exhibition at a gallery in London, marking the start of his exhibition career.
Alessio Vaccari’s painting stems from the conviction that reality conceals unseen aspects and hidden meanings. Pointillism is the painting technique through which these elements are studied and recomposed on the canvas through a skilful interplay of colour combinations. The analytical approach and the synthetic effect of Vaccari’s painting allow him to focus in equal measure on specific details and wide-ranging views, constantly blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior. The artist extracts elements from their original context, endowing them with a new, unexpected and surprising identity.
He has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in private galleries throughout Italy and takes part in art fairs.
