Angelo Zanella

Profile

Oil on canvas painter

He was born in Lovere (BG) in 1960.
He graduated from the Brera Academy.
He considers himself a painter, and based on this definition he spends his daily life working in his studies in Paris and in Lovere.
His production ranges from early works, linked to the experiences of the Informal, to the last cycles, where the rarefied chromatic range gives way to the pictorial and material quality of the brushstrokes.
Between 1987 and 2012 he exhibited on several occasions in Italy and abroad (we remember, in particular, the exhibitions at the Lelia Mordoch Gallery in Paris and Nice). He participated in the Effetto Bible project in Bergamo and at the Energy exhibition at the Politecnico di Milano. The collaboration with the Tadini Academy began in the summer of 2010, when on the occasion of "Autoarte" he exhibited the cycle "A Tazio", dedicated to Nuvolari, to then continue in January 2013, with the public presentation of the work " The day of remembrance ”on the occasion of the celebrations of January 27th.
